Our Approach to Compliance

Forum Engineering has established a basic policy of implementing compliance-oriented management. We promote compliance with laws and regulations, and appropriate business activities in accordance with societal norms and corporate ethics. We promote corporate activities that all stakeholders and society can trust in.

Compliance Promotion System

In order to ensure compliance, the Internal Audit Department continuously conducts operational audits, and auditors audit directors in the execution of their duties to ensure thorough compliance.
In addition, we have also established a Compliance Committee as an independent organization within the Company to regularly monitor compliance and report on this to the Management Committee and the Board of Directors.

Details of Compliance Initiatives

In order to raise awareness of compliance, we promote ongoing initiatives to educate each and every director, officer and employee in order to educate and inform them about matters that they must be in compliance with, which includes running regular training on protecting personal information and preventing harassment.

Dealing with Anti-Social Forces

The Company has established the measures necessary to exclude anti-social forces from all activities conducted by the Company, and all officers and employees comply with these measures to ensure the appropriateness and safety of our operations.

Prevention of Insider Trading

In order to prevent illegal acts such as insider trading, we have an information management system in place to prevent leaks and unauthorized use of important confidential information.
In addition, we have put an internal control system in place that includes rules regarding the trading of Company shares by all directors, officers and employees of the Company. We provide regular communications to raise awareness of this, along with training regarding the prevention of insider trading.

Protection of Personal Information

As a company engaged in staffing and recruitment, we recognize the importance of protecting personal information. Therefore we have established and applied a Privacy Policy to ensure that personal information is handled with the utmost care, in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan) and other relevant laws and standards.

Whistleblowing System

In order to prevent compliance violations and improve our self-purification function through early detection, we have a whistleblowing system for reporting compliance violations at the Company in place.
In order to make it easier for whistleblowers to make reports and seek advice, the Company has set up multiple points of contact for whistleblowing in which we accept reports internally as well as via an external law firm. We also have multiple methods of receiving whistleblowing reports, such as via phone, mail, e-mail, etc.
We conduct fair and impartial investigations using the information based on whistleblowing reports, and we have an operational system in place to ensure that whistleblowers are not disadvantaged in any way.
