One common concern among university students studying in science and engineering programs is the difficulty in concretely visualizing how the courses they take and the research they conduct at university connect to their future careers and occupations after graduation. To address this challenge and to inspire students to envision themselves as engineers working for major manufacturers in the future, the Company has hosted the “Engineer job seminar” since October 2015. In this seminar, employees who previously worked as engineers at major manufacturers serve as lecturers to convey the appeal of the engineering profession. This latest seminar was conducted as part of this ongoing initiative.

The company will continue to utilize the "Engineer job seminar" to widely share the significance of studying science and engineering and the appeal of mechanical and electrical engineering, which supports Japanese manufacturing. The Company will also introduce the types of industries and occupations that become accessible after graduation.
