Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur

Forum Engineering Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo: Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer: Tsutomu Sato, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") announces that its Indian subsidiary, Cognavi India Private Limited, has launched its "Cognavi" career support service for new graduates at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.

This development marks the introduction of "Cognavi" at seven campuses of the IITs, India's most prestigious group of universities.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) are a group of premier national universities in engineering and technology established by the Government of India. The IITs are among India's most selective and prestigious universities, consistently placing high in global university rankings.
To date, the Company has been providing "Cognavi" to several top-tier IIT campuses. The latest to launch the service, IIT Kharagpur, is ranked 6th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), an annual ranking of higher education institutions in India released by the Ministry of Education. The campus is the alma mater of Google's current CEO, Sundar Pichai. It places a strong emphasis on fostering startups and was the first in India to establish a Technology Park and an Entrepreneurship Center.

This latest initiative allows "Cognavi," an AI-driven platform, to fulfill its role at IIT Kharagpur by connecting talented engineering students with suitable employment opportunities. It also enables recruiters to access the campus's pool of highly skilled students.
"Cognavi" now collaborates with seven IITs across India, solidifying its presence within the nation's premier academic institutions.

Launched in June 2023, "Cognavi" is a rapidly growing service that now boasts 340,000 members. Additionally, for students who wish to work in Japan, the Company provides support in finding employment with Japanese companies through the "Work in Japan" service, which connects Indian students with businesses in Japan.

Moving forward, Cognavi India will continue to provide its service to various IIT campuses while also working to expand its introduction to other campuses. Through these efforts, the company aims to become a new infrastructure connecting companies and students, streamline the recruitment process, and strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
